Sound Legacy Productions was officially founded in 1998 by live production specialist and music composer Matthew Burgher to bring professional music production and live audio solutions to the public. Since his first taste of live audio as sound tech for a heavy metal band in the early nineties, Matthew has served thousands of artists and organizations worldwide. From mixing live broadcast television audio for performances of Grammy-winning artist CeCe Winans in 1998 to live production build for Bruno Mars in 2013 to assembling 'The Piano Man' Billy Joel’s piano in 2024, Matthew's approach to the industry blends precision with artistic vision.
Matthew's services include sound system operation, design, and installation, as well as technical training, recording, television and film production, songwriting, and album production. Matthew specializes in corporate audio visual production, having worked with over 70 AV production companies, distinguished corporations and dignitaries; including US presidential candidates, members of Congress, Fortune 500 CEOs, TV personalities, the US military, award-winning recording artists, and professional athletes at top venues across the country. Today, Matthew operates frequent live audio for a multi-award winning San Diego Best Musical Artist, a renowned California Nobel Laureate University, and the distinguished Mayor of San Diego.
