Sound Legacy Productions was officially founded in 1998 by live production specialist and music composer Matthew Burgher to bring professional music production and live audio solutions to the public. Since his first taste of live audio as sound tech for a heavy metal band in the early nineties, Matthew has served thousands of artists and organizations worldwide. From handling live broadcast television audio for Grammy-winning artist CeCe Winans in 1998 to building LED wall and floor screens for WWE superstars AJ Styles and 'The Prizefighter' Kevin Owens in 2016 to assembling 'The Piano Man' Billy Joel’s piano in 2024, Matthew's expertise spans music, entertainment, and live production at the highest level.
Matthew's services include sound system design, installation, and operation, as well as technical training, recording, producing, live broadcast television and film production, songwriting, and album releases. Matthew specializes in corporate audio visual production, having worked with over 60 AV production companies, distinguished corporations and dignitaries; including US presidential candidates, members of Congress, senators, mayors, Fortune 500 CEOs, TV personalities, NASA, all branches of the US military, award-winning recording artists, and professional athletes at top venues and resorts across the country. Today, Matthew operates regular live audio for a San Diego Best Musical Artist award winner, a prestigious #1 five star resort in California, a renowned California Nobel Laureate University, and the distinguished Mayor of San Diego.
